Mystery of Winter from the Sky -Observation of Floating Ice
Drift ice, a wintertime tradition in Hokkaido, is one of the natural phenomena that is found only in a very limited area in the world.
In Japan, it can only be seen along the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk, which is famous for being visited by many people from all over the country in winter.
The ice floes are thick and large, nearly 50 cm thick, and cover the entire surface of the sea, creating a spectacular view from the sky. The flight time is a full 90 minutes. The flight time is a full 90 minutes, and the flight time depends on the conditions of the ice floes.
It is said that Japanese drift ice was born near the mouth of the Amur River in Russia, traveled 1,000 km, and then drifted to the northeast of Hokkaido and various places along the Sea of Okhotsk coastline.

Important Notes
- Reservations for this plan will be confirmed only after we have received your preferred date and time. Please contact our Reservation Desk in advance for availability.
- Due to the oxygen masks, infants will be assigned to a single seat. (Up to 4 passengers in total are allowed to board.)
- Additional services not included in the above plans are at the expense of the passenger.
- Smoking is not permitted on board, in the transportation vehicle, or in the cabin.
- Please refrain from consuming alcohol in the pick-up and drop-off vehicles.
- Please refrain from taking photographs during takeoff and landing.
- Departure time, flight course, and flight time may be subject to change due to weather and climate conditions on the day of departure.
- Final information on the charter aircraft will be provided around 4:00 p.m. on the day before departure.
- Flight times are approximate and may vary depending on the passenger's weight, total baggage weight, weather conditions, etc.
- Only carry-on baggage is allowed on board, and all checked baggage must be placed in the cargo hold. (The cargo compartment is not pressurized, so electronic and other sensitive equipment must be carried on board.) Please bring any baggage you will need for the duration of the flight into the aircraft prior to boarding,
- We provide travel insurance for this tour. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions on the reservation page for details. In addition, we also provide aircraft insurance. We recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance, as there is a maximum limit.
